Adventucation Trips
Where Adventure and Education combine
Our Adventucation trips are led by professionals who seemlessly infuse educational material into some of the most popular adventure spots. Students (and adults) won't even realize they're learning while they're scaling mountains, or splashing in natural springs. We are always adding new adventucation spots to our list, so if you see one we're missing, let us know!

Stone Mountain- 1 mile
Stone Mountain is a great place if you want a fun and convenient trip. Located just outside of Atlanta, the Stone Mountain Adventucation trip can be paired with science standards of habitats (3rd grade), rock identification (3rd grade), ecosystems (4th grade), and civil war history (4th grade). This hike is short but has a very steep hike to the top. There is a lift available to make it accessible for those who cannot make the trip on foot.

Tallulah Falls- 2.25 miles
Tallulah Falls/Tallulah Gorge is a stunning hike, but be ready to climb hundreds of stairs (literally) and walk across a suspension bridge. Discoveries here include Georgia habitats (3rd grade), ecosystems (4th grade), erosion/weathering (3rd and 5th grade), and disaster prevention technologies (5th grade).

Panther Creek- 6 miles
Panther Creek is an Adventucation experience for those looking for a bigger adventure. This trail is longer and has some spots with rough terrain that will have you walking along a cliff edge, and climbing up and down steep walls. If you can make it through the entire hike though, a great swimming hole and water fall await you! Here we can incorporate standards such as Georgia habitats (3rd grade), ecosystems (4th grade), and erosion/weathering (3rd and 5th grade), as well as early civilizations (3rd grade).
Raven Cliff Falls- 6 miles
Raven Cliff Falls is another trip for major adventurers. This 6 mile trail leads up to some gigantic boulders at the foot of the falls. We can discuss topographical features, Georgia habitats (3rd grade), ecosystems (4th grade), and erosion/weathering (3rd and 5th grade).
Chattahoochee River- 0.5 mile
The Chattahoochee River has a number of different spots we could hit, most of which have very easy to moderate trails. This hike is perfect for Georgia habitats (3rd grade), ecosystems (4th grade), erosion/weathering (3rd?? and 5th grade), conservation (3rd grade), microorganisms (5th grade), and Classification (5th grade).
