Signing up for a consultation is the quickest and easiest way to get answers about how to become more effective with your mathematics and sciences teaching. Nadgenius Labs will come into your school or program, to review data trends, compile available resources, and even perform teaching observations if necessary in order to be able to make targeted suggestions for improvement of math and science programs. Our consultants will provide recommendations individualized to your students' academic, personal, and cultural needs and preferences.

Behavioral Management PD

Did you know many teacher educator programs do not include behavior management classes?
Teachers are often are not taught effective, research-based strategies to help create and maintain harmony in the classroom. Nadgenius Labs can help schools and districts develop their behavioral expectations for both students AND staff, as well as train them in ways to implement these changes. Behavioral Management Professional Development seminars will give teachers and other staff the tools they need to give students safe and clear boundaries. This not only makes for a more peaceful school environment, but also increases the amount of time children spend actively engaged in the material. Within this PD we can also discuss effective behavior management strategies to help in the differentiation of instruction, especially in inclusion settings.
*NEW* Trauma Informed Teaching PD
An unnerving number of children are the victims of Trauma and often do not get the support they need.
Worldwide about 1/3 of children have experienced at least one traumatic event. 20% of boys and 25% of girls have experienced sexual victimization. These events have a lasting impression on children. Poor social skills, emotional outbursts, withdrawal, violent or self-injurious behavior are all more common in people who have experienced trauma. Unfortunately the DSM-5 is lacking a proper childhood trauma disorder, so children are often misdiagnosed. When children are misdiagnosed it often leads to improper treatment and makes it difficult for schools to provide appropriate accommodations/modifications. This PD will help teachers to better identify trauma responses in children. It will help give teachers tools they can use in a general classroom or in a resource setting to help support students who have experienced trauma.

Using Nadgenius Labs recommended curriculum, D.H. Stanton saw the number of fifth grade students receiving a proficient score on the GMAS science section increase by 29% over the course of one academic year. The following year, the number of proficient students continued to increase, and 4% of fifth grade student received a distinguished score in the GMAS science section. This is the first time ever students from this school scored in that highest category.
